VoiceObjects 7 Brings Text, Video, Web to Mobile Phones
Support for Voice, Text, Video, Touch-Tone, and Web Channels Allows Design for One Phone Channel, Deployment on Others
Design Once, Deploy Anywhere
VoiceObjects 7 supports phone applications that use voice, video, text, touch-tone, and Web interfaces, and applications designed with VoiceObjects for any of those channels may be quickly and easily extended to use any of the other channels. New in VoiceObjects 7, the Cellicium Cellcube 3.6 and Sicap USSD Menu Browser 3.2 unstructured supplementary services data (USSD) browsers are supported, which enables phone applications to have two-way text-message interfaces. All Mobile Web browsers that are XHTML 1.0-compliant are also newly supported.
"We previously built a voice application with VoiceObjects; with VoiceObjects 7 we found it fast and easy to create a text application using the same voice application," said Robert Klusek, technology architecture and project coordination unit, PTC-ERA, a Polish mobile carrier. "In a hands-on training class provided by VoiceObjects, it only took us a few hours to transform our showcase Store Finder voice application to a text-based phone application."
Comprehensive Platform Independence
VoiceObjects´ comprehensive support for all major operating systems, databases, Web application servers, and media platforms protects customers´ existing and future infrastructure investments and creates IT flexibility. For example, VoiceObjects customers can freely change VoiceXML platform vendors without rewriting a line of code.
VoiceObjects 7 has new or enhanced support for the following media platforms, and a complete list of supported platforms may be found on the VoiceObjects website.

The next generation of phone applications has arrived."
