Volkswagen ruft weltweit ca. 5.900 Fahrzeuge des Typs Touran EcoFuel der Modelljahre 2005 bis 2009 zum vorsorglichen Tausch der vorderen Gasflaschen in die Werkstatt, davon ca. 3.800 in Deutschland. Bei einigen dieser Fahrzeuge besteht die Möglichkeit, dass eine durch äußere Einflüsse beschädigte Außenhaut nicht mehr den erforderlichen Korrosionsschutz bietet.
