Online marketplace for biomethane launched

VNG initiates trading platform for biomethane

Registration for the biomethane trading platform www.bioerdgashandel.de initiated and developed by VNG - Verbundnetz Gas Aktiengesellschaft (VNG) in cooperation with MITGAS Mitteldeutsche Gasversorgung GmbH starts today. From mid-October, registered users can buy and sell biomethane online at the virtual trading points in the German natural gas market areas via this internet platform. The contractual basis for the bilateral trading business between seller and buyer is a standard delivery contract posted on the website by the platform operator, or alternatively an individual contract with the relevant trading partner.
