Vizrt signs USD 400k broadcast graphics deal with cable TV channel in Asia

(PresseBox) ( Bergen, Norway, )
Vizrt Ltd. announced today a USD 400k deal for broadcast graphics (BG) products with a cable TV channel in Asia. The channel is an existing customer, owning a Viz Virtual Studio. The new deal expands the Vizrt BG presence to include a full newsroom workflow.

Vizrt presented its comprehensive workflow for graphics production from the newsroom to the control room during a rigorous selection process. This, along with Vizrt's reputation for excellent customer service in the region, won the deal.

The customer is building a new virtual set and has purchased Viz Virtual Studio to run the new set. Viz Virtual Studio allows broadcasters to design and control complex virtual sets.

The order also includes Viz Content Pilot, Vizrt's template-based graphics system that allows the journalist in the newsroom to edit and build a playlist of graphics for a newscast. Viz Trio, Vizrt's character generator (CG), was purchased for the control room. Viz Ticker 3D was purchased to scroll news, weather and sports information on air during a newscast.

Multiple Viz Engines, Vizrt's real-time compositing engine, have been purchased to render all graphics created by the cable channel in the newsroom, control room and studio.
