Vizrt Signs USD 806,000 Deal in the United Kingdom

Bergen, Norway, (PresseBox) - Vizrt Ltd. announced today a deal worth USD 806,000 for the implementation of Broadcast Graphics and Media Asset Management (MAM) products with a media management company in the UK.

The customer has been a client of Vizrt for many years and has entered into this deal to upgrade their current systems, as well as greatly expand their capability to create a complete end-to-end workflow with a Vizrt infrastructure.

The deal includes products that assist the media management company in providing broadcast playout branding and management tools for its multiple TV channel clients. Graphic templates will be managed through an integration with automation and scheduling systems using the Viz Multichannel rule-based channel branding system. Viz Multichannel makes it easy to apply real-time, high-quality Vizrt graphics for channel branding.

Media asset management tools in the form of a Viz Media Engine gateway linked to an existing Viz Ardome MAM system will be added to the solution. This will assist in the browsing, editing and previewing of content in the MAM system as well as compositing graphics and video together for final output to air.

"This deal is a typical example of what we are witnessing in the broadcast industry" stated Martin Burkhalter, Vizrt CEO. "Companies are looking for ways to both maximize the economic potential of their media assets through MAM and have an infrastructure that allows them to use these assets in such a way that workflow is optimized to achieve financial efficiencies. Vizrt's technology, in this respect, helps address both the top and bottom lines of our customers."
