Vizrt Signs USD 1.2 Million Deal with Foxtel in Australia
Foxtel plans to create a Content Factory to migrate to file-based workflows throughout its organization. The deal includes the Vizrt MAM Enterprise Solution including several Vizrt tools and products which cover different tasks. From ingest of feeds, media logging and segmenting, to video editing and multi-platform delivery.
The solution will allow staff to process file based content right from the supplier when it is delivered, and all the way through the system until it is transmitted to the viewers. All content will be located on a central storage system and is easily accessed and edited by program operations and promotions staff.
"Content Factory will make it easier for us to process Foxtel content right from the very beginning, when we acquire the rights to our content and then when it goes out to our customers." Said Adam Scott, Director of Broadcast Operations. "The building of the new Content Factory is progressing well and we are starting better to understand how the changes will affect people when they perform their roles."
The implementation of the system will change the way people work at the broadcaster and the system will enable greater efficiencies and more automation of processes as new workflows are introduced.
"Our MAM Enterprise Solution is a proven high-performance asset management system" stated Martin Burkhalter, Vizrt CEO. "We are proud to be a part of shaping our clients' new workflow. The solution will help them to achieve their goal of a complete file-based workflow and allow them to grow for many years to come."
