Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today announced the release of a compact new 4-line ESD-protection array designed to protect dual high-speed USB ports or up to four other high-frequency signal lines against transient voltage signals up to 15kV.

The new array is packaged in the leadless LLP75, with a 1.6-mm by 1.6-mm footprint and an ultra-low profile of 0.6mm (VBUS054B-HSF) or 0.75mm (VBUS054B-HS3) to minimize the board space required for active ESD protection in a wide range of portable electronic systems, including portable and handheld computing, communications, industrial, automotive, and medical applications.
