VIB Vermögen AG acquires newly built logistics property in Schwäbisch Gmünd
High-yielding property acquired with investment volume of around EUR 11 million / Early 10-year contract extension for logistics property in Ingolstadt area
As a result of this purchase, VIB Vermögen AG now commands a portfolio totalling 87 properties with a rentable space of around 678,000 m². Ludwig Schlosser, CEO of VIB Vermögen AG, expressed his satisfaction with the successful transaction as follows: "We are convinced that our commitment to the logistics sector will prove sustainably successful. Our latest addition to the real estate portfolio is also distinguished by an attractive rental yield, and will consequently contribute to further enhancing our profitability."
VIB Vermögen AG has also announced that an already existing rental contract for a logistics property in the Ingolstadt area, which comprises a space of around 19,300 m², has been extended early by a ten-year period. Peter Schropp, Management Board member responsible for real estate, regards this as a reflection of VIB's successful cooperation with its tenants: "We see this contract extension as evidence of trust. It also says something about the attractiveness of our properties, and of how we have correctly assessed the needs of the market and our tenants."
