Vor überraschenden Anrufen einer fragwürdi­gen Organisation namens "Verbraucherschutzzentrale" bzw. "Verbrau­cherschutzzentrale Koblenz" warnt die Verbraucherzentrale Rheinland-Pfalz. Mit dubiosen Angeboten versucht diese Organisation, arglosen Menschen einen äußerst fragwürdigen Schutz vor "dubiosen Anrufen und Abbuchungen von Lottogesellschaften" anzubieten. Einer Ver­braucherin aus dem Raum Trier wurde am Telefon erklärt, man buche 89,- Euro von ihrem Konto ab und würde dann alles für sie erledigen. Diese unseriöse Organisation setzt hier gezielt auf eine Verwechslung mit der Verbraucherzentrale Rheinland-Pfalz e.V.. Diese distanziert sich aber mit Nachdruck von einem derartigen Geschäftsgebaren.
