Dr. Tobias Schmid, Vorstandsvorsitzender des Verbands Privater Rundfunk und Telemedien (VPRT), erklärte zu einem aktuellen ARD-Statement zur Auswirkung des ab Januar 2013 geltenden Teil-Sponsoring-Verbots bei Sportübertragungen:
