Erster Corporate PPA für Vattenfall in Großbritannien

Der Softdrink-Hersteller AG Barr hat einen langfristigen Vertrag mit Vattenfall geschlossen über die Lieferung von Windstrom (Corporate Power Purchase Agreement, CPPA) für seine Produktionsstätten in Großbritannien.

Vattenfall wird AG Barr über einen Zeitraum von zehn Jahren mit 22 Gigawattstunden (GWh) pro Jahr aus den britischen Windparks von Vattenfall beliefern. Dies ist Vattenfalls erster Abschluss eines Corporate PPA in Großbritannien. Vattenfall hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, einer der führenden Anbieter in Nordwesteuropa zu werden und sein CPPA-Portfolio weiter deutlich auszubauen. Für Deutschland wird für die kommenden Jahren vermehrt der Abschluss solcher langfristigen Lieferverträge für Grünstrom prognostiziert.
