Die "Systems" hat sich in diesem Jahr als eine Schlüsselmesse für Voice Commerce in Europa erwiesen, stellt der Fachverband für die Anwendung von Sprachtechnologien, Voice Application Standard Committee e. V. (VASCom), fest. Als Ursache hierfür nennt der Verband den anhaltenden Trend in Richtung Internettelefonie, im Fachjargon Voice-over-IP (Internet Protocol) genannt, der die "Systems" in weiten Teilen beherrschte. Zahlreiche Business-to-Business-Anbieter im Bereich Voice Commerce wie Bestsella, Clarity, Interxion und Toplink haben die Münchener Messe genutzt, um neue Lösungen für die VoIP-Kommunikation vorzustellen.
