Berthold Leibinger Stiftung finanziert Stiftungsprofessur zur Untersuchung der Wechselwirkungen zwischen Naturwissenschaft, Technik, Gesellschaft und Kultur

Die Berthold Leibinger Stiftung errichtet an der Universität Stuttgart die Stiftungsprofessur "Wirkungsgeschichte der Technik". Mit dieser Professur, die dem Historischen Institut zugeordnet ist, möchte die Berthold Leibinger Stiftung die Erforschung der Wechselwirkungen zwischen Naturwissenschaft, Technik, Gesellschaft und Kultur in historischer Perspektive fördern. Berthold Leibinger ist die Öffnung der "technischen" Wissenschaften hin zu den Geisteswissenschaften seit Jahrzehnten ein großes Anliegen. Daher hat er der Berthold Leibinger Stiftung 1,5 Millionen Euro für diesen Zweck zur Verfügung gestellt. Der oder die zukünftige Inhaber/in der Stiftungsprofessur soll fachübergreifend mit praktisch allen Fakultäten der Universität zusammenarbeiten und im Internationalen Zentrum für Kultur und Technikforschung (IZKT) gki Qooqvgtkjnt Hpiulybfc zkkcnlpfr.
