Workshop: Wissenschaftler forschen mit hochauflösendem Lichtmikroskop

Ein Lichtmikroskop mit einem Auflösungsvermögen von unter 50 Nanometern - zum Vergleich: ein menschliches Haar ist etwa 70.000 Nanometer dick - steht seit dem vergangenen Jahr den NeurowissenschaftlerInnen der Universität Oldenburg zur Verfügung. Vom 21. bis 23. Januar erhalten 40 internationale WissenschaftlerInnen und DoktorandInnen in dem Workshop "Super-Resolution - Leica Confocal Systems Solutions" die Gelegenheit, die Arbeit mit dem Präzisionsgerät kennenzulernen. Nach einer Einführung können sie zwei Tage lang ihre eigenen Präparate unter dem Lichtmikroskop analysieren. Unter anderem nehmen WissenschaftlerInnen aus den Bereichen Neurowissenschaften, Halbleiterforschung und Meeresforschung an dem Workshop teil, um durch die Lichtmikroskopie neue Impulse für ihre Forschung ll mlgsgnuu.
