"Warum Wissenschaftsforschung?" - Interdisziplinäre Tagung zur Musikwissenschaft

Zusammenhänge zwischen Kommunikation, Macht und Wissen am Beispiel der Musikwissenschaft reflektiert die interdisziplinäre Tagung "Musikwissenschaft: Generationen, Netzwerke, Denkstrukturen" am 16. und 17. Januar an der Universität Oldenburg. In vier Panels - "Generationen und Netzwerke", "Sprachen und Kulturen", "Denkstrukturen und Wissenskonzepte" sowie "Öffentlichkeiten und Medien" - diskutieren die TeilnehmerInnen das Verhältnis von Forschung und gesellschaftlichen Strukturen. Ziel ist es, eine soziologisch und historisch fundierte Wissenschaftsforschung innerhalb der Musikwissenschaft anzustoßen. Ein öffentliches "Roundtable-Gespräch" am Samstag, 17. Januar, 14.30 Uhr, im Bibliothekssaal stellt unter dem Titel "Warum Wissenschaftsforschung?" die Frage nach Möglichkeiten und Grenzen wissenschaftsgeschichtlicher und wissenschaftssoziologischer Ansätze.
