Wirtschaftsminister Zeil eröffnet internationale Tagung

Vom 3. bis 5. März findet der jährlich tagende "Munich Satellite Navigation Summit" in der Residenz München statt. Internationale Experten aus Industrie, Politik und Wissenschaft erörtern Chancen und Zukunftsvisionen der Satellitennavigation. Das europäische System Galileo steht im Mittelpunkt der Konferenz, die der Bayerische Wirtschaftsminister Martin Zeil eröffnet. Das Institut für Erdmessung und Navigation an der Universität der Bundeswehr München organisiert seit Jahren die renommierte Tagung.

Bradford Parkinson, der Vater des amerikanischen Satellitennavigationssystems GPS, ist am 5. März 2009 zu Gast auf dem "Munich Satellite Navigation Summit".
