Uhde Inventa-Fischer to build world's first commercial-scale plant for the production of flame-retardant Nofia(TM) for FRX Polymers Europe, NV
Uhde Inventa-Fischer and FRX Polymers, Inc. have been collaborating closely in the development and optimization of research-intensive, flame-retardant specialty polymers since many years. Uhde Inventa-Fischer's scope of supplies will include the basic and detail engineering, supply of all equipment and components, the construction and mechanical completion of the plant. The civil engineering will be carried out by ThyssenKrupp Uhde GmbH.
FRX Polymers, Inc. was founded in 2007 following over five years of intensive research and development in the field of inherently flame retardant plastics.
