Successful commissioning of polyamide 6 plant for Hangzhou Hangding Nylon Tech. Co., Ltd.

Hangzhou Hangding Nylon Tech. Co., Ltd. and Uhde Inventa-Fischer have successfully commissioned a plant for the production of high-performance polyamide 6 for textile grade applications. The plant is located in the Economic Technical Development Area of Hangzhou City in Zhejiang Province, P.R. China and uses Uhde Inventa-Fischer's Virgin Lactam Process (VLP®) and High-Performance Polyamide 6 Additives (HPPA®) to produce 47,000 tonnes per year of semi-dull chips.

The polymerization reaction is performed in an advanced proprietary single-stage VK tube with a nominal capacity of 130 tonnes per day.
