Mio's "Moov V780" multimedia PND integrates u-blox' AMY GPS module

Mio, a leading manufacturer of GPS navigation devices, has selected u-blox' AMY-5M GPS module to power the Moov V780, a high-end personal navigation device (PND) and multimedia player. The PND earned an International Forum Design 2010 (iF) award for outstanding quality of design.

The ultra-slim 14 mm device with 7 inch touchscreen combines personal navigation with multimedia features including web browsing, high-definition TV, photo/music management, and Email. The device depends on u-blox' ultra-low profile AMY-5M for fast, precise, and low-power positioning. AMY is the world's smallest GPS module.
