TV One is the proud recipient of the Government Video, "Salute" Award for their CORIOview C2-6104A 4-Window DVI-U Processor. This prestigious award is nominated on by industry professionals and then selected unanimously by the editorial team of Government Video magazine. The "Salute" Award is presented in recognition of innovative achievement in the advancement of video technology.

Steve Tullo, Northeast Regional Sales Manager for TV One was present to accept the award and states, "I am honored to accept the Government Video "Salute" award at the 2010 GV Expo in Washington DC for the C2-6104A on behalf of TV One. Our R&D Engineers continue to develop new products in the CORIO® product line-up allowing us to find new markets for these products for applications in Government, Military, Broadcast, Digital Signage, Medical & Corporate that seem endless. The C2-6104A is not only a DVI-Multiviewer, it's a Seamless Switcher/Scaler & Video Processor".

The secret to the success of this winning product lies in the internal CORIO®2 scaling and conversion technology designed and developed exclusively by TV One, which is the backbone of the C2-6104A Multiviewer. This low-cost 4-Window Video Processor accepts DVI up to 1920x1200@60Hz and 1080p, as well as RGB, Component and Composite video inputs up to 2048x2048 at virtually any refresh rate and also includes multiple benefits and features for its economical €3205 (£2850) MSRP price-tag, ensuring its commercial success.

It has five inputs to place up to four sizeable windows on a single DVI output, with each window powered by a separate CORIO®2 scaling engine, providing full picture-in-picture flexibility. Its extra features include premium-quality video scaling, cascading multiple units together to create more windows, colored borders and source labeling for each window, 50 user defined presets for customizable quick control, storage capacity of up to forty still images such as logos and test cards, optional Tally and UMD support, seamless switching and chroma/luma keying.

The core CORIO®2 technology gives it a huge advantage over other video processors available as the firmware is not permanently committed to a chip within the unit. Instead it is loaded into a FPGA which can be changed at any time to add input/output resolutions or provide additional features. Access to the FPGA is available via serial interface port meaning new firmware can be freely downloaded from the TV One website and the unit upgraded in a matter of minutes. This means that a model several years old can be upgraded time and again with new features as and when they are developed and released, instead of having to purchase a brand new model.

This new accolade follows the "Systems Product of the Year" 2010 AV Award that was presented to this same product earlier in October this year and is a testament to the quality of the superior CORIO®2 Technology powering the CORIOview C2-6104A DVI Multiviewer.
