Highly configurable heavy duty pressure transducers from Honeywell now available through TTI, Inc.

Maisach, (PresseBox) - Honeywell's new PX2 series of heavy duty pressure transducers for use in a very wide range of industrial and transportation applications can now be ordered from TTI, Inc., the world's largest specialist distributor of passive, discrete, connector and electromechanical components. The devices are highly configurable, durable, cost-effective and offer thousands of possible configurations. A broad compensated temperature range of -40 up to 125 degC enables customers to design the same transducer into many different applications. Thanks to their good EMC protection the transducers will not be damaged by any environmental electromagnetic interference.

PX2 series pressure transducers use piezoresistive sensing technology with ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) signal conditioning and can measure absolute or sealed gage pressure. They are fully calibrated and compensated for transducer offset, sensitivity, temperature effects, and non-linearity. The absolute versions have an internal vacuum reference and an output value proportional to absolute pressure. The sealed gage versions have an internal pressure reference of one atmosphere at sea level. The transducers are available in 7 bar to 34 bar (100 psi to 500 psi) pressure ranges with additional pressure ranges coming soon. All products are designed and manufactured according to ISO 9001 standards.
