Das Hochtechnologieunternehmen TRUMPF hat die Umfirmierung und Verschmelzung seiner hundertprozentigen Tochtergesellschaft SPI Lasers in die TRUMPF Gruppe und unter der TRUMPF Marke abgeschlossen. Mit Wirkung zum 28. November 2020 firmiert die in Southampton, Großbritannien ansässige Gesellschaft SPI Lasers UK Ltd. nun unter dem Namen TRUMPF Laser UK Ltd. Die Gesellschaften SPI USA und SPI Korea sind mit Wirkung zum 1. November beziehungsweise 1. Dezember mit den lokalen Gesellschaften TRUMPF USA respektive TRUMPF Korea verschmolzen. Bereits im April 2020 hat TRUMPF die SPI-Niederlassung in China mit TRUMPF China verschmolzen. Seit dem 1.
