Just one click to get the information you want
- trans-o-flex with a completely new Internet presence
- One Stop Shopping concept transferred to the online world
- Design reflects different user preferences
Everything from one single source: parcel services and forwarding, actively temperature-controlled transportation of pharmaceuticals and tailored logistic solutions, which integrate storage, valueadded services and transport. This One Stop Shopping concept, which constitutes the basis of the trans-o-flex Logistics Group's corporate strategy, has now been transferred to the logistic expert's new Internet presence. "All business areas and services can be accessed from one page", says Kai Schmuck, Director Sales & Marketing of the Group. "As regards the design, we, despite the wide range of our services, have entered new ways in order to further improve the user friendliness of and access to the content provided."
In this respect, the fundamental re-design of the company's Internet presence was subject to two guidelines in order to take the Internet users' different interests and search preferences into account: clarity and redundancy. "Despite the large offer, it must be possible to find the most important things immediately", explains Schmuck. This is why the most frequently used areas can all be accessed from our homepage with only one click. These include shipment tracking and online registration as well as the special hotline for recipients of shipments. With the help of a "quick access" system, users that search for specific information will now be automatically guided to the Press, System Partners, Company, Career and Directions pages.
Schmuck: "A customer-oriented Internet presence has to give the user the possibility to choose the best way to get the information he wants." Those who prefer to do a systematic search can use the classical menu bar. Moving your mouse over the menu will automatically open all submenus and click boxes. Users that prefer to search for a specific item can enter it in the search field, which can be found in every page's top right corner. Returning to the quick access and the most important functions is also a matter of just one click. In order to facilitate orientation, these click boxes can always be found in the same places.
As a brand new offer, a "Service Combiner" function shows, which of the additional services offered by trans-o-flex can be combined with each other. For example, those who choose trans-o-flex' Time-definite Service for a specific shipment, click on this option and immediately see that this shipment type can be combined with 16 other offers and tailored to personal needs: from "Evening Service" to "Packaging Disposal/Return".
