Das Telefon des Thüringer Landesdatenbeauftragten für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit (TLfDI) steht seit heute Morgen nicht still. Zahlreiche Unternehmer, Kanzleien und Vereine baten um seinen Rat. Sie alle haben per Fax ein Schreiben einer sogenannten „Datenschutzauskunft-Zentrale“ erhalten. Hier werden sie mit einer Frist bis zum 9. Oktober 2018 an ihre gesetzliche Pflicht zur Umsetzung des Datenschutzes nach der neuen Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (DS-GVO) erinnert und aufgefordert, das beigefügte Formular unterschrieben und ausgefüllt zurückzusenden. Was dick, fett und unterstrichen als gebührenfrei deklariert wird, wird im Kleingedruckten zum Kauf eines Basisdatenschutz-Beitrages von jährlich 592,62 Euro!
