Fanless mini embedded PC with Intel 5th gen CPU

Quickborn, (PresseBox) - The NANO-001N from AAEON Technology is an embedded box PC based on the Nano-ITX form factor. With a wide array of functionalities, the system is powered by the 5th Generation Intel® Core™ SoC U series with the i3/i5/i7 variants, delivering different levels of performance at a low power consumption of 15W. The system can be considered as an industrial NUC.

Measuring only 150x125x55mm, the NANO-001N packs a number of I/Os and capabilities that are not found currently on the market. Among them are 2 x LAN ports, 6 x USB ports (4 of which are USB 3.0), 2x 4K-ready DisplayPort, WiFi connectivity (via optional module), and wide voltage support (12V to 19V). Any expansion needs are catered for with the system's M2 and Mini-PCIe interface as well as reserved COM and USB headers on the board.

On top of physical means of cooling in the form of an aluminum heat sink/chassis, the NANO-001N utilizes Intel's Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework (Intel®DPTF)- a technology for adjusting performance based on temperature- to improve the system's overall thermal management through temperature/performance balancing.
