Texas Instruments präsentiert zwei neue 6- und 4-Kanal elektromagnetische Interferenz-Filter (EMI) für LCD Display-Anwendungen. Die Bewertung der Elektrostatischen Entladung (ESD) der TPD6F202- und TPD4F202-Filter übertrifft die IEC 61000-4-2 Spezifikation bei Kontaktentladungen mindestens um das Dreifache. Beide Komponenten übertreffen außerdem die festgelegte Spezifikation für Luftentladung um 67 Prozent. Dadurch kann das Signal über den Baustein weitergeleitet werden, während Hochfrequenz-Schall und elektromagnetische Interferenzen (RF/EMI), die häufig als Linien auf dem Bildschirm von LCD-Displays erscheinen, herausgefiltert werden. Aufgrund der geringen Größe der Bausteine können Entwickler den bisher verschenkten Platz unter den Steckverbindungen nutzen.
