Testing Technologies to Develop TETRA Certification Test Platform for the TETRA Association(PresseBox) ( Berlin, )
TETRA Association has now appointed Testing Technologies to develop a certification platform for the certification of the Peripheral Equipment Interface (PEI). Testing Technologies has bid, among 23 other companies for the tender of a scripting engine that shall enable the TETRA Association to develop and run a certification scheme for the PEI interface.
Testing Technologies outperformed the competition with its offering by presenting a TTworkbench based certification test platform. TTworkbench, Testing Technologies test automation flagship, provides an efficient environment for the development and execution of automated tests. TTworkbench will be accompanied by a certification environment that enabled the certification body to implement various certification schemes. It supports pre-certification tests as well as self-certification, or test lab based certification schemes. Furthermore the certification environment can be extended in order to be used within an overall quality assurance process.
"We are delighted that the TETRA Association has selected our TETRA Certification Test Platform," said Theofanis Vassiliou-Gioles, Testing Technologies' CEO. "We hope that this success is a starting point for us to work with the TETRA Association on a fully automated test platform."
As TTworkbench is based on the standardized technology TTCN-3, the TETRA Association has chosen a well established technology paired with the most deployed TTCN-3 test automation platform to provide their more than 150 members with an efficient, scalable and modern test system.
"After a technical assessment of all the offers and a precise cost analysis, we decided to choose Testing Technologies," explained Phil Kidner, CEO of the TETRA Association."Testing Technologies has a long tradition in test automation and is one leading provider of TTCN-3 based test solutions. We are confident that Testing Technologies' TETRA Certification Platform will fulfill the requirements to test and certify the TETRA standard Peripheral Equipment Interface (PEI)."
