Testing Technologies has just released a new version of their test automation platform TTworkbench. After more than 10 years of continuous improvement it has become one of most inquired software test tools on the market due to its great capability and reliability.

TTworkbench consists of all the features you would expect to conveniently develop and analyze test scripts - independent of technology, development phase or type of testing.

The current version TTworkbench 20 contains new practical features, for instance the TTman Server with an all-new designed backend. It enables users to remotely execute tests in different labs while actually sitting in the office. They can automatically discover, select and administrate a TTman Server, as well as define and control connection settings.

Furthermore, the TTlibrary contains new mathematical functions and advanced file access complementing the already existing logging, network and file access functions. TTworkbench 20 is adapted to the latest TTCN-3 edition 4.7.1, a standard created by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).

Testing Technologies has also released the new TTplugin SpirentTestCenter. It allows customers to automatically control Spirent TestCenter chassis via TTCN-3 test cases. Users are able to easily create test configurations, to run test cases, and to retrieve test results.

About TTCN-3

TTCN-3 is an internationally standardized test language with a powerful textual syntax supporting all kinds of black-box testing. It was developed at the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) and has established itself as a global, universal testing language.

TTCN-3 has grown into a 10 part standard with four extension packages to date. Application of TTCN-3 has been widened beyond telecommunication systems to areas such as the automotive industry, internet protocols, railway signaling, medical systems, and avionics.

There has been witnessed a rapid uptake of the language in Asia - especially in India and China -where already more than 40% of all testing services worldwide are provided today. TTCN-3 has further strengthened its position in standardization and is used increasingly for certification and acceptance testing.
