T15-ExReady: Industrial terminal for the explosion-proof range

Heuchelheim / Gießen, (PresseBox) - The completely closed 15" industrial terminals of the T15-series can be used as Thin Client or IPC in explosion-proof ranges of the zones 1 and 2. By an expandable pressure monitor module and an external control unit the aluminium housing of the T15 is rinsed permanently and automatically. Optionally the T15-ExReady is for high hygienic requirements also available in high-grade steel.

Since the pressure monitor has the same boreholes as the T15, neither the standardised support arm system nor the housing of the T15 must be changed. That has the advantage, that within a production plant the same equipment can be used in ex-zones and normal industrial ranges, what holds the costs for setup change as small as possible.

The basis ist he T15-PC - an efficient, completely closed industrial computer in IP65. It has a 15" TFT-display and offers many advantages as for example an embedded board. The chassis is completely closed and protected after safety class system IP65 and therefor suitable for rugh environments, like dust, humidity and warmth. Additionally a high-grade steel variant is available on customer's request, which is suitable for the food, pharma or chemical industry. Optionally also an equipment with touch function is possible. A further advantage is the fanless cooling, which provides for noiseless and maintenance-poor operation.

Additionally the extended hardware-software-system and condition monitoring device PreVision Control is contained in the standard - the intelligent condition monitoring system examines permanently the safety-relevant system components in the background and evaluates them. In this way it does not even come to possible wear-conditioned system crashes and the security of the production process remains ensured.
