Efficient, digital and from a single source: Munich-based software company RIO is presenting its comprehensive range of transport management and telematics solutions at this year's LogiMAT in Stuttgart (March 11-13, 2025, Hall 4, Booth 4A74). With a focus on the needs of small and medium-sized fleets of five vehicles or more, RIO offers its customers a cloud-based complete solution that integrates vehicles from different manufacturers.
RIO will be focusing on its Cartright transport management system (TMS) at the trade fair. The system enables digital and automated handling of transport processes and comprehensive resource management. The close link with RIO's telematics solutions gives companies the tools they need to manage their fleets in real time and increase the efficiency of their transportation.
Special features of Cartright are the simple implementation and the interface to the driver app for barrier-free driver communication. The system can be seamlessly integrated into existing processes and customized, no matter the size of the fleet. The RIO telematics solutions can be added on a daily basis and without a long-term contract commitment. The manufacturer-independent integration makes it possible to monitor trucks, trailers and vans of different brands via a central platform. This eliminates the need for costly retrofitting, as RIO works with existing interfaces. It is currently already possible to work on the RIO card for almost all well-known European truck and trailer manufacturers with identical data.
RIO's solutions also enable employees to access all relevant data from any location. This transparency reduces the time spent on administrative activities, optimizes work processes and saves costs. With the RIO platform, fleet managers can digitize transport processes and use real-time data to react more quickly to changes or problems.
“Digitalization is not a luxury for large companies, but a decisive factor in remaining competitive even as a small business. With RIO, we are making these possibilities tangible and practicable for everyone,” emphasizes Jan Kaumanns, CEO at RIO.
RIO also has a special feature for the Pocket Driver app in its trade fair luggage: With “Order Communication”, RIO allows a connection to any common transport management system (TMS) and is a solution for companies that already have a TMS in use but still have to use the telephone to communicate with drivers. This gives dispatchers and drivers real-time access to all essential order data.
In combination with Order Communication, the Pocket Driver App acts as a direct interface to the dispatcher. This not only allows dispatchers to keep an eye on their current tours at all times, but also provides extensive information on the load - from quantity and material to weight and dimensions and the load carriers used. The solution is supplemented by versatile communication options, detailed status messages and a tour-related chat that facilitates the exchange between drivers and dispatchers in the local language and automatically translates conversations.
