Taiwan's ICT Brands Will Present Innovation at the IFA 2016 (September 2nd, 2:00 pm, IFA Exhibition Center)

Taipei, (PresseBox) - Leaders from Taiwan’s top Information & Communication Technology (ICT) firms will discuss the latest trends in the industry at the IFA 2016. The presentation will be held on September 2nd from 2:00 to 3:30 pm at IFA, Dessau 6, Conference Room. Members of the press are cordially invited to attend.

During IFA 2016, the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion, organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade of Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and implemented by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), will display selected products at Booth 202, IFA Hall 25. All products on display are winners of the Taiwan Excellence Award. Products deemed exceptional in the areas of R&D, design, quality and marketing, exclusively receive the prestigious Taiwan Excellence Award.

The brands that will be featured in this year’s show all encapsulate Taiwan’s competitive edge in ICT. The Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), a nonprofit research organization, will showcase a foldable on-cell touch AMOLED display. Delta Electronics will be represented by their brands Innergie and Vivitek, which will introduce a portable LED smart projector with an Android operating system as well as a laptop adapter with exchangeable plugs. Edimax will present its new EdiLife App, a simple, free security app that allows users to access consumer electronics at their homes on the go. Additionally, the Taiwanese company will show three novel cameras and its Nano Smart Plug, a power consumption meter. Everest, a forward-looking textile company specializing in research and development of next generation fibers, will display the Ever Photo-Heart Rate Smart Textile at the press conference. This novel textile combines the special features of wearables with textiles, and that of optics and electronics.
