Per 1. März 2005 wird Swisscom IT Services Outsourcing-Partner von SWISS International Air Lines (SWISS) im Bereich Infrastruktur-Dienstleistungen und SAP-Basissystem-Betrieb. Der Vertrag läuft über mehrere Jahre; das Gesamtvolumen liegt bei einem hohen zweistelligen Millionenbetrag. Das Outsourcing umfasst insbesondere die Betreuung aller Computer-Arbeitsplätze in der Schweiz und im Ausland. Per 1. März 2005 übergibt SWISS Teile ihrer IT-Infrastruktur an Swisscom IT Services. SWISS setzt damit ihre Konzentration auf das Kerngeschäft konsequent fort. Der Auftrag umfasst den Betrieb der Midrange-Server-Landschaft, des SAP-Basissystems sowie die Installation, den Betrieb und die Wartung aller Computer-Arbeitsplätze (Electronic Workplace) in der Schweiz und an Geschäftssitzen im Ausland.
