Team Teka Suzuki Europe World MX2 finished the ADAC MX Masters Series' final race in Hoechstaedt with two podiums. At cold, wet and autumnal weather Ken Roczen won in front of 8,000 fans. Xavier Boog claimed third place in the championship.

On the KTM-Ring's sandy track in Hoechstaedt Ken Roczen could claim his second win of this season on his SUZUKI RM-Z 250 leaving no chance to Red Bull KTM Factory Team's Max Nagl and Rui Goncalves.

After Nagl and Steve Ramon (Teka Suzuki World MX1) had to retire in race 1 Ken Roczen could take the lead and win the first moto in front of his team mate Xavier Boog. Daniel Siegl completed the team's great performance with finishing fifth.

In race 2 Roczen had a good start, caught up the front easily and finished third. Xavier Boog claimed fifth place on his SUZUKI RM-Z 450 and secured third place in the championship in front of MX1 Vice World Champion Maximilian Nagl.

Daniel Siegl still had the chance to finish sixth in the championship after race 1, but in the second race his machine had a technical failure and remained seventh.

After winning the ADAC MX Youngster Cup last year Ken Roczen finished his ADAC MX Masters' debut season on second place and became best rookie in this series ever - record!

Since last week Arnaud Tonus undergoes tests on Xavier Boog's 2009 RM-Z 250 and together with Ken Roczen he develops general settings and chassis for the next three weeks. Not before the beginning of November both can take holidays. In December they are going to start with testing the brandnew fuel-injected SUZUKI RM-Z 250, and Jens Johansson and his team are already busy with making the new motorcycle a winning bike.

Tuesday, 13th of October, 2009 Ken Roczen will be part of Stefan Raab's TV show TV Total on Pro 7 channel at 11.00 p.m.. In 2009 he proved Motocross isn't still a marginal sport.

Ken Roczen: "It's been a hard season, but the best I ever had. I've experienced so much, had terrific races and stayed unhurt. I can be happy, really. Finishing the season with a victory is great and next year I'll try to continue my progress. Now I'm grudging myself a few days of vacation."

Xavier Boog: "This was my last big race for Teka Suzuki Europe World MX2. I'm really happy that I could secure third place in the championship with good luck, though. The problems with my appendix cost me a lot of points in the middle of the season, but fortunately it worked out. A big thankyou to all my sponsors, my mechanic, the team and my family. These have been two great years.

Daniel Siegl: "I'm considerably disappointed. I had the real chance to finish sixth in the championship, but I couldn't finish race 2 due to an engine failure. That's really annoying because of missing by just one point. Next week we start practicing for the SX season."

Thomas Ramsbacher: "What a season - top 5 in the MX2 World Championship and Larissa Papenmeier became Vice World Champion. In the national championship Larissa won the Ladies Cup, and Ken finishes second and Xavier third in the MX Masters Series. That's definitely a lot more than I've expected. A big thankyou to the riders and the whole team who perfectly worked together and made these great results possible. We can't really await the start of the next season and there'll be a winter of hard testing, but everybody is already dying for our preparations for 2010 to achieve our goal."
