Suzuki starts well prepared in the new season

Suzuki in the IDM Superbike and Supersport 2012

Bensheim, (PresseBox) - Also in 2012 the IDM Superbike and Supersport play an important role for Suzuki International Europe. Besides many other Suzuki riders, the focus is on in all six Suzuki International Europe supported pilots going to fight for wins, points and positions in both the IDM top categories.

When the International German Motorcycle Championship IDM starts in the season 2012 from April 20 to 22nd at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz, Suzuki will traditionally be strongly represente, particularly by altogether six riders in four teams supported by Suzuki International Europe.

In the IDM Superbike Roland Resch (Team Reitwagen Suzuki) and Sascha Hommel (Team HPC-Power Suzuki) will ride the Suzuki GSX-R1000 - the World Endurance Championship 2011 winning bike.

In the IDM Supersport category reigning german champion Jesco Günther (photo) and Roman Stamm (Team Suzuki Mayer) as well as Sarah Heide and Thomas Walther (Team Suzuki Laux) are going to fight for wins, points and positions on the Suzuki GSX-R600.

The four teams supported by Suzuki International Europe absolved promising pre-season tests and preparations over the winter and we are looking forward to a successful prelude at Lausitz."
