DentWise Equips iPads with Survey Anyplace Questionnaire to Improve Lead Generation at Industry Event
DentWise collects 240 leads in just 3 days with a modern take on data collection
"We were looking for a way to create a stir at one of the dental industry's most important events and collect sales leads at the same time," says Stijn Hanssen, Business Unit Manager at DentWise, a Belgian supplier of high-end dental implant structures. "We created an enticing contest for attendees and invited them to enter using a Survey Anyplace questionnaire on iPads."
The high-tech, high-touch effort created a valuable professional impression for DentWise and a positive vibe that attracted even more visitors to their booth.
Survey Anyplace is an app-free survey and quiz tool designed for mobile, allowing for data collection online and off, fully capturing the customer experience in real time.
"Almost everyone owns or has used a mobile device of some sort, which is the familiarity and data-collection efficiency we created Survey Anyplace to leverage," says Stefan Debois, CEO of Survey Anyplace. "Nearly everyone accepts the invitation to enter personal information when handed an iPad, which is one of the reasons this effort was so successful for DentWise."
"We definitely noticed not only an increase in the number of leads collected using the mobile questionnaire but also how much more efficiently we collected them in terms of staff time at the booth," adds Hanssen. "In the past, DentWise collected business cards or used paper entries, which then had to be input into a database after the show. Leads collected with mobile questionnaires are available for follow up immediately, letting sales people close the follow-up loop much faster and more cost effectively."
"Creating the questionnaire was very simple," Hanssen says. "We just uploaded the DentWise logo file, and it was automatically integrated into the Survey Anyplace template for the branded look we needed. Then we just entered questions and chose which answer types we wanted."
DentWise rented three iPads to collect the leads and spent just 10 Euro for pre-paid 3G Internet access, although he notes that they considered collecting them offline, knowing the data would upload instantly the next time the tablets connected to the Internet. "The whole process was amazingly simple and flexible," he concludes, "we've definitely entered a new era of data collection."
