In seiner Keynote zum LinuxTag 2008 in Berlin wird Ian Murdock, Vice President for Developer and Community Marketing von Sun Microsystems, neben dem freien Betriebssystem OpenSolaris und dem Office-Paket OpenOffice 3.0 Beta auch den Open High Availability Cluster (OHAC) vorstellen. Dies ist die Open-Source-Code-Basis von Solaris Cluster, einer Hochverfügbarkeits-Lösung von Sun. Mit OHAC stehen Entwicklern und Systemadministratoren alle Komponenten zu einer kompletten Clusterlösung zur Verfügung. Damit können diese vollständige und hochverfügbare Clusterlösungen zur Sicherstellung der Business Continuity sowie zur Wiederherstellung im Notfall entwickeln.
