Südzucker management board decides about dividend recommendation and announces preliminary figures for business year 2016/17

Südzucker AG announces preliminary figures. In financial year 2016/17 (1 March 2016 to 28 Feb-ruary 2017) group revenues reached EUR 6,476 (previous year: 6,387) million. Group operating profit significantly increased in the same period to EUR 426 (previous year: 241) million. The in-crease is caused especially by the development in the sugar segment, but also all other segments contributed.

Conditional to a respective resolution by the supervisory board (expected 17 May 2017), a divi-dend of 0.45 (previous year: 0.30) Euro per share shall be recommended for business year 2016/17 to the annual general meeting, taking place 20 July 2017.
