Changes in Supervisory Board increase orientation to capital market

Feldkirchen, (PresseBox) - In an election held on August 2, 2007, Uto Baader, Baader Wertpapierhandelsbank AG's CEO, was elected as the new Chairman of STEICO AG's Supervisory Board. STEICO, a specialist for ecological construction materials, has been listed in the Frankfurt Stock Exchange's Entry Standard since the end of June, 2007.

Uto Baader was elected to the Supervisory Board by way of a resolution of STEICO AG's General Meeting on April 25, 2007, and took office on August 1, 2007. He thus replaces Dorota Spindler as a member of the Supervisory Board, who left the Supervisory Board on July 31, 2007 and who had held the position of Deputy Chairman. In the election on August 2, 2007, Mr.
Baader has now been elected as Chairman for one year, and thus takes over this position from Katarzyna Schramek, who will remain in the Supervisory Board as Deputy Chairman.

"We are happy to have been able to gain Mr. Baader, a highly competent expert for the capital market, to chair our Supervisory Board," commented Udo Schramek, STEICO AG's CEO. "We believe that his expertise will provide sustained impulses for our company's growth. At the same time, these changes in our Supervisory Board reinforce the path we have already embarked upon towards enhanced orientation to the capital market." STEICO AG went public at the end of June 2007 in the Frankfurt Stock Exchange's Entry Standard and Munich Stock Exchange's M:access. EUR 73.5 million accrued to the company during the IPO.
