Mit dem I-7551 stellt die Spectra Computersysteme GmbH ein neues Modul vor, mit dem die Verbindung zwischen zwei seriellen Schnittstellen vollkommen galvanisch getrennt werden kann. Das Modul stellt eine echte Drei-Wege-Trennung bereit. Das heißt, es werden sowohl die Daten- und Steuerleitungen als auch die Stromversorgung der zwei RS-232 Schnittstellen bis zu 2.500 V galvanisch voneinander getrennt. Das Modul verfügt aus diesem Grund über jeweils einen DC/DC-Konverter für jede der beiden seriellen Schnittstellen sowie über Optokoppler für Daten- und Handshakeleitungen. Das I-7551 bietet somit auch unter extremen elektrischen Störeinflüssen auf die Verbindungsleitung einen perfekten Schutz für zwei über eine RS-232 Schnittstelle puwjggqcebz oybcbonlidq Eevgsx.
