Der Computersicherheits-Experte Sophos stellt heute Sophos Anti-Virus (SAV) Interface für NetWare vor. Das Application Programming Interface (API) ermöglicht die Integration der leistungsstarken Fähigkeiten zur Virenerkennung und -vernichtung in die Software von anderen Anbietern. GWAVA, ein Anbieter von eSecurity Softwarelösungen für Novell GroupWise, arbeitete mit Sophos während der Entwicklung von SAV Interface für NetWare zusammen.

SAV Interface stellt umfassende Berichte über jeden Virenvorfall zur Verfügung. Es erfüllt selbst die Anforderungen von Umgebungen mit großen Bandbreiten und schützt - durch den sehr schnellen Zugang in die Sophos Viruserkennungs- Engine - vor allen bekannten Viren.
