Optiarc Europe vertreibt BD-ROM Retail-Paket unter der Marke Sony

Sony NEC Optiarc Europe GmbH (Optiarc) bringt ein internes BD-ROM PC-Leselaufwerk auf den Markt. Das unter der Marke Sony vertriebene Retail-Paket ermöglicht den Ausbau eines PCs zum Blu-ray Discs™ Player und das Abspielen von DVDs und CDs.

Das BDU-X10S BD-ROM Laufwerk wird mit CyberLinks PowerDVD BD Edition ausgeliefert. Die Player-Software spielt Blu-ray-Filme, auf Blu-ray aufgenommen Videos sowie DVDs und CDs.

"Mit einem Preis von weniger als 200 Euro bietet das Blu-ray Laufwerk eine günstige Möglichkeit, Blu-ray-Filme am PC zu genießen", sagt Thomas Nedder, Managing Director der Optiarc Europe.
