SOLON S.p.A., a subsidiary of Berlinbased SOLON SE with registered offices in the Northern Italian city of Carmignano di Brenta has been awarded the contract for construction of 16 greenfield installations in the Northern Italian provinces of Friuli and Veneto with a total capacity of about 12.5 MWp. The project is one of the invitations to tender announced throughout the EU last year by SunTergrid S.p.A., a whollyowned subsidiary of Romebased Terna S.p.A., one of Europe's largest independent power grid operator.
