Fast installation, appealing design: The new in-roof module SOLON Black 160/05

Berlin, (PresseBox) - SOLON is introducing a new in-roof module, the SOLON Black 160/05, at the European Renewable Energies trade fair which starts today in Lyon, France. The module is installed without conventional installation systems, thus combining aesthetic design with special ease of installation.

The SOLON Black 160/05 is produced from black monocrystalline cells on black Tedlar film. The frames and side plates (also black) round out the appealing, homogeneous design of this new in-roof system. It is suitable for roofs with slopes between 22 and 60 degrees; the plates enable connection to all current tiles.

Predrilled holes already integrated in the modules' innovative plastic frame make speedy installation of the SOLON Black 160/05 possible. The Black 160/05 can be screwed directly to the roofing battens; no additional sarking membranes, aluminum rails and module clamps are necessary. Lateral rubber seals and sealing lips integrated in the polyurethane frame prevent moisture from penetrating between the modules. Side plates included in the system's scope of delivery make connection to tiles an easy matter. Installation of the modules with slightly overlapping frames allows optimal water drainage.

The SOLON Black 160/05 achieves maximum peak output of 180 watts, corresponding to 14.06 percent efficiency. SOLON guarantees 90 percent output for the first ten years and 80 percent for another 15 years.
