Die Anzahl von 250 aktiven (DC-) Schnellladern hat ladenetz.de nun erreicht. Am Firmengelände der STAWAG Stadtwerke Aachen AG in Aachen, der Heimatstadt der smartlab Innovationsgesellschaft, wurde feierlich der 250. (DC-) Schnelllader in Betrieb genommen. Damit verfügt die smartlab über eines der größten DC Ladenetze in Deutschland.

Der Vorstand der STAWAG Stadtwerke Aachen AG Herr Wilfried Ullrich und der Geschäftsführer der smartlab Innovationsgesellschaft mbH Herr Dr. Mark Steffen Walcher laden den BMW I3 am neu errichteten (DC-) Schnelllader. Nach einer Ladezeit von nur ca. 30 Minuten kann die Fahrt mit vollgeladenem Akku fortgesetzt werden.
