SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES Introduces New Vacuum Sputtering System with Horizontal Substrate Transport - Order for Several Systems Placed

The SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG (SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES) further developed a new version of its vacuum sputtering system GENERIS for CIGS thin-film solar technology. As announced on July, 13 this year, the Manz AG, Reutlingen, has ordered several systems of this type. SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES and Manz collaborate on sputter processes for further development and optimization of the back electrode of CIGS thin film modules.

The vacuum sputtering system GENERIS is a modularly designed system and possesses a horizontal substrate transport. The vacuum process chambers are equipped with efficient rotatable cylindrical cathodes.
