Silvia Quandt & Cie. AG has appointed Gilbert Fischer (35), a noted investment banker, as Head of Sales trading responsible for Frankfurt, Zurich and London. Mr. Fischer possesses many years of experience in sales trading; he had been in executive positions with Cantor Fitzgerald and BHF-Bank where he has successfully managed teams of more than 25 employees.

Previously has been with institutions such as J.P. Morgan Cazenove, UBS and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein.

Mr. Fischer starts on June 1st with Silvia Quandt & Cie. AG and in addition he is appointed to the supervisory board of Silvia Quandt Capital Markets (Schweiz)
