Siemoneit Racing Seat Cupra 300 - Ultimate performance boost from the specialists for hardware and software tuning

(PresseBox) ( Stade, )
Owners of the 2018 Seat Cupra 300ST 4drive all have one thing in common - the desire to make the top model in the Seat range their very own and thus drive one of the powerful Cupras, which can be configured ex-works. If you’re looking for more engine power, but don’t want to compromise on quality and TÜV compliance, you just need to consult a tuning specialist. One of the best, most experienced experts of the art is the software guru Stefan Siemoneit from Siemoneit Racing. The all-brand tuning operation has been developing individual performance tuning for motorsport and road applications since 2001. With the powerful 521 bhp Siemoneit Racing Seat Cupra 300, the company from Stade near Hamburg offers an impressive display of power which adds to the athleticism of the Cupra 300 ST from the sports chassis, the wheels and engine right up the last detail of the DSG transmission housing.

The far-reaching mechanical and electronic enhancements to the 4-cylinder engine and peripheral equipment are the heart and soul of the performance optimisation programme. Siemoneit Racing replaces capable standard components with parts developed in-house, and installs bigger turbochargers, a high-flow air intake system and new intercoolers with an optimised air guidance system. In addition the turbo inlet, turbo outlet and the pressure pipes have been replaced to do justice to the new requirements. More powerful fuel pumps and a fully-milled aluminium oil sump with two extra litres of capacity are also included. On the exhaust side, the engine developers from northern Germany combine an EWG downpipe with their own in-house, valve-controlled “RipJaw” sports exhaust with carbon fibre end-pipes. The considerably increased torque opposes an enhanced 7-disc clutch which can transfer 750Nm without any difficulty.

After the final electronics fine-tuning of the machine and DSG transmission on the in-house all-wheel dynamometer, both engine performance and propulsion improve powerfully: Now with 521PS / 383kW and 620Nm, the Siemoneit Racing Seat Cupra now accelerates to 100 km/h in a breathtaking 3.4 seconds (standard performance: 5.7 seconds)  And at 280 km/h (electronically limited; 305 km/h is possible), top speed also benefits significantly from the tuning work - the standard model succumbs to air resistance at 250 km/h.

This performance level demands special wheel/tyre combinations: For this, Siemoneit Racing fit Sport Pilot Cup 2 tyres from their premium supplier MICHELIN, size front/rear 235/35 ZR19 to their new high-performance forged wheel. The 8x19 ET 45 designed, ultra-light “Vader” monoblock rims reduce unsprung mass, thus improving acceleration and braking performance. The exclusive Y spoke designer wheel will soon be available in a Flow Forming version too.

To optimise handling and deceleration, Siemoneit fall back on tried and tested components: The V3+ thread chassis from KW Suspensions and the 370mm ceramic brake unit from the Audi RS3 are the top choice for the configuration of the ultimate Siemoneit Racing Seat Cupra 300.
