With its powerful 1.86 gigahertz Intel Mobile processor, the new Simatic Panel PC 577B from Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D) provides outstanding computing power for industrial applications. The panel, which is only 14 centimeters deep, has a main memory of 512 megabytes. This can be increased to up to four gigabytes. The diverse basic features of the Simatic Panel PC 577B include an 80-gigabyte hard disk, two Ethernet interfaces, a DVD burner, one USB interface on the front and four on the back, and two PCI extension slots.
