The high-performance UV-1800 spectroscopy system can be applied to routine analyses in laboratories of many industries. Comprehensive Chromatography allows GC and GC(qMS) to be carried out for the first time ever in series and therefore offers additional dimensions for highly improved chromatographic resolution.
UV-1800 – simply "spectracular"
With a very small footprint, the new Shimadzu UV-1800 offers the highest resolution in its class. The new Shimadzu UV-1800 is the follow-up model to the successful UV-1700. It is suitable for water analysis and quality control in environmental laboratories, as well as in food and pharmaceutical industries.
Based on its new compact design and improved performance specifications, the UV-1800 was developed to be even more user-friendly. It is available as stand-alone model or in a PC-controlled version. Software is included in the package.
Panorama window via Comprehensive Chromatography
Comprehensive Chromatography is a novel technique particularly suitable for the analysis of highly complex natural products such as petrochemical samples as well as fragrance and flavor compounds. The combination of GC x GC(qMS) technology and the patented Zoex modulator opens up a new dimension for the analysis of complex samples. Users can "look through a panoramic window" onto the entire sample composition. The Zoex modulator complements the successful GC-2010 and GCMS-QP2010 Plus systems.
