Sharkoon stellt eine preisgünstige Modellreihe externer Gehäuse für 3,5-Zoll-Festplatten vor. Die neue Serie mit dem Namen Rapid-Case umfasst drei jeweils in Schwarz oder Silber erhältliche Modelle mit unterschiedlichen Schnittstellen. Zur Auswahl stehen Gehäuse für IDE-Festplatten mit externem USB-Anschluss, für SATA-Festplatten mit externem USB-2.0-Anschluss und für SATA-Festplatten mit externem USB- sowie eSATA-Anschluss. Die schlichten Rapid-Cases aus solidem Aluminium eignen sich mit ihren handlichen Maßen von 115 x 35 x 205 mm (B x H x T) ideal zum flexiblen Datentransport. Mit dem beiliegendem Standfuß können die Gehäuse auch hochkant aufgestellt werden.
